2016-17:
Skated in career-high nine games, tallying 8 SOG, 2 BKS, 4 PIM, 2 FOW and a E rating… One of Denver’s 16 Academic All-Conference Team members.

2015-16:
Made NCAA debut on Oct. 10 vs. Air Force... Named to 2015-16 NCHC Academic All-Conference Team on Feb. 17... Fired 1 SOG on Mar. 19 vs. North Dakota in NCHC Consolation Final.

2014-15:
Earned NCHC Academic All-Conference honors in recognition of his stellar academic performance during freshman year at DU.

Before Denver:
Skated in 102 career games with the NAHL’s Wichita Falls Wildcats from 2012-14, recording 19G-22A-41P in addition to 63PIM… Registered 54GP-11G-14A-25P-28PIM in 2013-14 and 48GP-8G-8A-16P-35PIM in 2012-13 with Wichita Falls…  Played on the Rocky Mountain Roughriders’s U18 squad in 2011-12, tallying 15G-11A-26P-26PIM in 40 games played.

Personal:
The son of Mary and Chris Junda… Has one brother (James) and one sister (Aleida)… The great nephew of John Rhodes, a goaltender with the Princeton Tigers in the 1940s… Chose to attend DU because it had been his lifelong dream to don the Crimson & Gold… Plans to double-major in Marketing and Finance while double-minoring in Film Studies and Astrophysics… Favorite pro athlete: Jordan Spieth because his mental energy is so well-developed… Favorite movie: Interstellar… Favorite TV shows: Entourage and The Office… Favorite book: Lord of the Rings by J. R. R. Tolkien… Favorite video games are FIFA 2015 and ‘anything Batman-related’… Favorite pro sports teams are the Denver Broncos and Colorado Avalanche… Enjoys rock climbing, golf and tennis in his spare time.
