Biography

2015-16: Finished T-24th in the nation in points (T-6th in assists) with 11G-33A-44P (40GP)... Earned honorable mention all-conference honors from NCHC... Recorded 100th career NCAA point on Jan. 30 at Miami... Matched career high with four points (1G-3A) on Feb. 12 vs. UND.

2014-15: Named NCHC Forward of the Year after winning the in-conference scoring title with 13G-17A-30P (23GP)… Also named to All-NCHC Team and captured Second Team All-American (West) honors… Led Pios/NCHC with 22 total goals… Finished sophomore campaign with 22G-22-44P in 39GP… Named NCHC Offensive Player of the Week and NCAA No. 2 Star of the Week for Feb. 23-Mar. 2 (2GP-2G-4A-6P)… Named to All-Tournament Team at Ledyard Classic (2GP-3G-1A-4P)… Recorded four multi-goal games and 12 multi-point games… Named to All-California Team by California Rubber Magazine… Shared Dallas Guame Award as Denver’s Offensive Player of the Year with Danton Heinen.

2013-14: Named to NCHC All-Rookie Team after recording a team-high 32 points (14G-18A) in 42 appearances as a freshman… Only first-year player to skate in all 42 games for Denver... Named NCHC Rookie of the Week on Nov. 24 and again on Jan. 4... Scored his first two collegiate goals on Nov. 15 against Western Michigan.... Finished tied for 21st in the NCHC in scoring... Led the Pios in +/- with a rating of +14... Also led the team in game-winning goals with five... Had two four-game point streaks and two three-game point streaks... Finished on the team in shots on goal with 98.

Before Denver: Registered 32G-63A-95P in 111 career USHL games with Tri-City from 2011-13… Scored one goal for Team USA at the 2012 U18 Junior World Cup in Europe… Skated with Team West at the 2013 USHL/NHL Top Prospects Game in Muskegon, Mich., recording 1 SOG in a 2-1 win… Selected by Tri-City in the first round (No. 8 Overall) of the 2011 USHL Futures Draft… Led the Los Angeles Selects (T1EHL U16) in scoring in 2011-12 with 19G-22A-41P in 35 games played… Helped the Selects register a record of 35-17-8, among the best in the nation at the T1EHL Midget 16U AAA level.      

Personal: Threw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the Colorado Rockies’ Sept. 21, 2015... Favorite MLB team is the L.A. Dodgers... Enjoys golf and water sports in his spare time... Was a big fan of the L.A. Kings growing up... Favorite NHL player is Zach Parise.
