Sue Kelley joined the University of Denver ahead of the 2015 season after spending five years as an adjunct instructor and a professional tutor at Penn State University. Prior to Penn State, Kelley was a teacher in Howard County, Md., and was a lacrosse director for Greater Chester Valley Girls Lacrosse (Malvern, Pa.).

Kelley got her MEd at Loyola University (Md.) and did her undergrad at the University of Delaware.

The DU director of ops lives in Denver with her husband Jim and three children. Children: Sean (junior at Cherry Creek H.S), Brad (freshman at Cherry Creek H.S) and daughter Kristin (6th grade at West Middle School).
