Rich Abrahams has been involved in club, masters and collegiate coaching since 1977, in addition to teaching numerous clinics on swimming technique, conditioning and injury prevention.

In his collegiate career at Northwestern (1962-66), Abrahams won multiple Big Ten Championships, was an NCAA finalist and All-America honoree. Abrahams graduated from Columbia Law in 1969, going on to practice law in New York and Denver for eight years before working in public parks and recreation from 1978 until his retirement in 2010.

Abrahams’ Masters swimming career (1975-present) includes multiple Swimming World Magazine Swimmer of the Year honors, 60 world records and an induction into the International Masters Swimming Hall of Fame.
