Jasmine Gill

Former IMG Academy head girls basketball coach Jasmine Gill was named an assistant coach on DU head coach Erik Johnson's staff on April 29.

Gill led the IMG Academy Girls Regional program to a 22-4 mark in the 2025 season. The Greensboro, North Carolina, native focused on a disciplined and high-accountability team culture to prepare her student-athletes for collegiate-level competition, which in turn has prepared her for this position, her first collegiate assistant coaching job.

Gill played her college basketball for Boston College (2008-10) and James Madison (2010-13). Following her collegiate career, Gill played 13 seasons professionally across several different countries, including France, Germany, Greece, Italy and Australia. During her professional career, Gill also worked as a fitness trainer for Jus Global Athletics.

In-between her professional career and her most recent job at the IMG Academy, Gill coached at the high school level in Greensboro at Grimsley High School and Southeast Guilford High School.

Gill received her bachelor's degree in criminal justice from James Madison in 2012 and became a certified fitness trainer in 2018 from the International Sports Science Association.
