Ava Mabanta will enter her first season as an assistant coach in 2026-27.

She was a student-athlete on the team for the 2022-23, 2023-24 and 2024-25 seasons before transitioning to a role as student assistant coach in 2025-26.

Prior to Denver (Competitive Experience)

Gymnastics Student-Athlete, University of Denver (2022-25)

• Three-Time WCGA Scholastic All-America (2023, 2024, 2025)
• Achieved career high of 9.850 on beam in February, 2023
• Missed 2024 and 2025 seasons with injury

Education

• Completing bachelor's degree in business information & analytics, and marketing (double major)
