Alexa Ruggiero is in her first year as a Certified Intern Athletic Trainer with the University of Denver. Her primary sport responsibility is with the women’s lacrosse team. Prior to this she spent on year as a full time Athletic Trainer at Valley Stream Central High School on Long Island, NY.
Alexa obtained her Bachelors of Science degree in Athletic Training from Towson University in 2018. As an athletic training student she worked with Towson D1 collegiate athletic teams, including women’s gymnastics, men’s and women’s lacrosse, and swimming and diving. Alexa also worked with all fall sports at Calvert Hall High School in Maryland.
Alexa is an active member of the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA).
