Melanie Luck is a Certified Athletic Training Intern with the University of Denver working women’s lacrosse. She is also an approved provider for the United States Olympic Committee and most recently traveled with USA Paralympic Track & Field to Berlin, Germany.
Prior to this she spent two years as a Graduate Assistant and Interim Head Athletic Trainer for the Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC, a professional soccer team in the USL. In the off-season, Melanie assisted orthopedic physicians and physical therapists at Centura Orthopedics. During her graduate assistantship, Melanie completed her Master’s in Sports Medicine: Athletic Training from University of Colorado Colorado Springs in 2018.
In 2016, Melanie obtained her Bachelor’s in Athletic Training from the College of Charleston. As an athletic training student, she worked with men’s basketball and men’s/women’s swimming and diving. Additionally, during the summer of 2015 she interned with USA Baseball in North Carolina.
Melanie is an active member of the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA), the Rocky Mountain Athletic Trainers Association (RMATA), and the Colorado Athletic Trainers Association (CATA).
