University of Denver Athletics

David Kummer rejoined the University of Denver Division of Athletics and Recreation staff in 2014. Prior to returning to Athletics, he spent 4 and a half years as an Academic Adviser and Program Counselor in the Daniels College of Business’s Office of Undergraduate Programs at DU where he oversaw the Microsoft Certification Program.  Before this, he served as an intern in Athletics assisting both Student-Athlete Support Services and Compliance areas.
 
Kummer earned his undergraduate degree in Psychology, and master’s degree in Higher Education both from the University of Denver while competing as a student-athlete on the Men’s Basketball team.
 
David resides in Denver with his wife Laura.
