Lindsey Smith

Lindsey Smith was named women's volleyball director of operations in September of 2024. 

Prior to DU, Smith was an assistant for the Morningside University Men's Volleyball program in their 2023-24 season and an assistant for the College of Saint Mary Volleyball program in their 2020-21 season. Outside of collegiate programs, Smith has coached youth and held administrative titles at United Volleyball Club in Fountain Valley, CA, Midwest Volleyball Power in North Sioux City, SD, and is currently the Events Coordinator and Marketing Director for Great Plains Region Volleyball based in Omaha, NE.

Smith, a setter in her time at the University of Nebraska-Kearney, compiled nearly 5,000 assists in her career and averaged 11.27 assists per set, earning her AVCA All-American honors in 2016. Offensively she tallied 350 kills and 139 aces in 441 sets, while rounding up 971 digs and 198 total blocks on the defensive side of the ball. She continued her career with the Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles beach volleyball team as a graduate student.

Smith graduated from the University of Nebraska- Kearney with a degree in sports administration and earned her master's degree in sport coaching from the University of Southern Mississippi.
