2016-17: Appeared in 6 of 44 games during National Championship season…Made NCAA debut on Oct. 22, 2016 at Michigan State… Recorded first career NCAA point and assist on Dec. 30, 2016 at Providence…Named to NCHC Academic All-Conference Team and tabbed an NCHC Distinguished Scholar-Athlete (July 5, 2017)... 

Before Denver: Skated with the Springfield Jr. Blues (NAHL) during the 2015-16 season, registering 12 points (2-10-12), 65 PIMS and a +2 plus/minus rating in 56 games played…Tallied four points (1-3-4) and 18 PIMS with the Chicago Mission U18 (HPHL U18) during 2014-15 season... Spent 2013-14 season with Team Illinois U16 (HPHL U16), tallying 3 points (1-2-3) and 14 PIMS…

Personal: The son of Doug and Kim Fear… Has one sister, Marisa, and one brother, Evan… Chose to attend Denver because of the Pioneer culture, outstanding coaches, and the great business school…  Received bachelor’s degree in finance from DU in 2019 and is pursuing his master’s in accountancy… Favorite musical artist is Zac Brown Band… Favorite TV show is Billions…Enjoys fly fishing and backpacking in his spare time…
