University of Denver Athletics

Crystal Rush, MA, ATC, LAT

Crystal Rush came to the University of Denver in the summer of 2015. Her primary sport responsibilities include Volleyball, Men’s Golf, and the oversight of the certified athletic training intern working with the Men’s and Women’s Swim and Dive teams. In 2023 she was promoted to Associate Athletic Trainer with DU.
 
Crystal obtained her master’s degree in Athletic Training from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 2015. While in Omaha she helped out with the UNO hockey team and the women’s soccer and women’s basketball teams at Creighton University. Additionally, she spent the summer of 2014 as an intern with the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs, an independent professional baseball team in Maryland.
 
In 2012, Crystal graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education with a minor in Athletic Training from York College in Nebraska.
 
Crystal is an active member of the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA), The Rocky Mountain Athletic Trainers Association (RMATA), College Athletic Trainers Society (CATS), and the Colorado Athletic Trainers Association (CATA).
 
She currently resides in Denver with her large dog child, Watson who takes his role as emotional support dog for DU student-athletes very seriously.
