Aaron Leu, MA, ATC, LAT

Aaron Leu is in his 17th year as Associate Director and 22nd year as a member of the full-time staff of Denver Sports Medicine Team in 2025-26. His primary duties are working with Hockey and the Women’s Golf team.
 
He will serve as the head athletic trainer of the United States Collegiate Selects men's hockey team at the prestigious Spengler Cup international tournament in Davos, Switzerland, in December 2025.

Leu previously served as an assistant athletic trainer at the University of Nebraska at Kearney from 1999-2004, where he worked with the football, women’s basketball, and softball teams. Leu also worked in Phoenix, Arizona at the Sports Medicine Institute Physical Therapy Clinic and with the at-risk youth at the Arizona Boys Ranch from 1996-1999.
 
In 1994, Leu earned his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Creighton University and his master’s degree from the University of Nebraska at Kearney in 1996.
 
Leu is an active member of the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA), The Rocky Mountain Athletic Trainers Association (RMATA), and the Colorado Athletic Trainers Association (CATA).
