Jacob Wolf is in his first season as an assistant coach on the University of Denver women's triathlon team after being named to the position on Sept. 24, 2025.
In this role, he works on head coach Barbara Perkins' staff in assisting with all training and operational needs of the program.

Wolf comes to Denver after spending four years as an athlete on the University of California San Diego club triathlon team from 2021 to 2025, where he served as a team captain during the 2022-23 season and team president in 2024-25. He also led the annual Tritonman Triathlon as race director in 2024 after being an assistant to the race director in 2023. In those roles, he worked closely with USA Triathlon and the City of San Diego to put on a safe and fair event while also organizing more than 80 volunteers in what is one of the top season-opening triathlons in the country.

The Milwaukie, Oregon, native competed at the USA Triathlon Collegiate Club National Championships in each of his four years at UCSD after running four years of varsity track in high school. Wolf also worked as a bike mechanic at the UCSD campus bike shop as a senior.

Wolf graduated from UC San Diego in 2025 with a bachelor’s degree in Cognitive Behavioral Neuroscience.
