University of Denver Athletics

Madison Amaya is in her second  year at University of Denver, working with Men’s Soccer  Alpine Ski and Nordic Ski.
 
Prior to coming to DU, Madison served as the Athletic Trainer for LSU Volleyball from 2020-2023. From 2018 – 2020 Madison served as a graduate assistant at University of New Mexico. Her duties included coverage of the UNM softball and football teams.
 
Madison was born and raised in Baton Rouge. She received her bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Louisiana State University in 2018 and master’s degree in physical education from the University of New Mexico in 2020.
 
Madison is married to Rafa Amaya. They have two dogs, Bentley and Skizzy.
