RUSTON, La. (Jan. 8, AP) - Antonio Meekings scored 15 of his 21 points in the second half in leading Louisiana Tech to an 85-61 victory over Denver n a Sun Belt Conference game Saturday night.
Gerrod Henderson added 17 points, Curtis Williams had 16 and Derek Smith had 10 as Tech (8-4, 1-1 Sun Belt) avenged an 83-76 loss earlier this season at Denver (2-11, 1-3).
Henderson added a game-high 14 rebounds as Tech, which led 40-33 at halftime, finished with a 42-29 rebounding advantage.
Wahhab Carter led Denver with 23 points, Arthur Ireland had 16 and B.J. Pratt added 10 points for the Pioneers.
