The University of Denver men's tennis team defeated Weber State, 7-0, Friday (Jan. 19) at the Air Force Academy.

Denver swept all six matches in singles and lost just one match in doubles competition to move to 1-0 on the young season. Seniors Boris Turkic (Samboor, Croatia) and Tomasz Wawrzyniak (Inowroclaw, Poland) were each pushed to three sets in singles competition before emerging victorious. The pair then teamed up to defeated Weber State's No. 1 pairing in doubles, 8-2.

Denver will return to the Air Force Academy Friday, January 26 for a 6 p.m. match with Montana State.
