DENVER - Freshman goalkeeper Joe Willis (St. Louis, Mo) was named to the U.S. Under 20 National Team and will be one of only two goalkeepers to suit up for the team in their first contest against Haiti on October 11.

Willis recorded his third shutout of the season on Sunday when the Pioneers blanked UNLV 5-0. He flies out to meet the U.S. team after Denver's game Saturday Oct. 7 against Air Force and will participate in a two-day camp before facing Haiti on Wednesday. He will then fly out to San Jose, Calif., to meet the Pioneers for their match-ups against San Jose State on Thursday, Oct. 12 and Sacramento State on Sunday, Oct. 15.
