ST. CLOUD, Minn. Senior goaltender Peter Mannino (Farmington Hills, Mich.) stopped 25 shots and sophomore Brock Trotter (Brandon, Manitoba) tallied the game-winning goal as the No. 4/5 Denver Pioneers defeated No. 14 St. Cloud State, 3-2, in WCHA action tonight at National Hockey Center.
DU improves to 11-4 overall and 8-3 in the WCHA, while SCSU falls to 7-6-2, 3-5-1 with its fourth consecutive loss.
