The University of Denver volleyball team will participate in three tournaments and a scrimmage in its 2007 spring schedule head coach Beth Kuwata announced today.

 

The Pioneers will begin by hosting Air Force, Northern Colorado and a team of DU alumni in the first spring tournament on April 7 at Hamilton Gymnasium.

 

DU head to Boulder, Colo., to face instate rival Colorado, as well as Northern Colorado on April 14 in Boulder, Colo.The events will take place at the Coors Events Center and DU will play form 9-11 a.m. and 1-3 p.m.

 

The Pioneers will take on the U.S. national training team in Colorado Springs, Colo., at the Olympic Training Center on Thursday, April 19.

 

DU rounds out its spring training schedule with a trip to North Ridge, Calif., to participate in a tournament that features Cal-Riverside, Santa Barbara, Cal-Irvine, Long Beach State, UNLV and Cal-Fullerton.
