DENVER -- The University of Denver earned four All-Summit League honors for the 2025 season, the Summit League announced on Saturday.
Both
Genevieve Lewis and
Ava Reynolds were named to the All-Summit League Second team and
Izabela Molina and Maddie Winkler were named to the All-Freshman team.
Reynolds put together an impressive senior campaign, leading the Pioneers with 2.98 kills and 3.35 points per set. The Ankeny native appeared in all 27 matches and 100 sets this season. She recorded double-digit kills in all but nine matches this season and earned a career-best 20 kills against regular-season champion South Dakota State.
Lewis appeared in 97 sets this season for the Pioneers. The Cedar Hill native recorded double-digit kills on 13 occasions and averaged 2.69 kills/set and 2.90 points/set. The senior more than doubled her combined kill total from the previous three seasons with 261 kills, good for second on the squad.
Molina appeared in 20 matches and 65 sets for Denver. She leads the Summit League with a .396 hitting percentage and broke the Pioneers' single-game hitting percentage record, hitting .900 with nine kills on 10 attempts in the sweep of North Dakota. She ranks second on the team with 32 blocks during conference play and averages 0.89 blocks/set.
Winkler earned the starting libero spot mid-way through nonconference play. The freshman appeared in 90 sets and 26 matches. She leads the team with 337 digs, averaging 3.74 digs/set, good for second in the Summit League.
The Pioneers will take on North Dakota State on Sunday at 5 p.m. MT in the opening round of the Summit League Tournament in Brookings, South Dakota.
