DENVER - The University of Denver volleyball team (5-10, 2-1 SBC) defeated the Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin Cajuns (8-12, 0-4 SBC) 3-0 on Friday evening in the Earl K. Long Gym in Lafayette, La. The Pioneers turned in scores of 25-22, 25-22 and 25-20 to record their second conference win of the season.

Junior Faimie Kingsley (Brooklyn, N.Y.) led the Pioneers with 14 kills and six blocks, while freshman Kate Acker (Waukesha, Wis.) added eight kills and eight digs.

Senior Alyssa Bonelli (Superior, Colo.) finished with a .353 hitting percentage as she posted seven kills, while also finishing with two blocks and two digs.

Redshirt senior Julia Cawthra (Lakewood, Colo.) finished with 37 assists, two blocks and five digs, while junior Lyndi Johnson (Flower Mound, Texas) posted 15 digs and two assists.
