DU Evens Record at 7-7

DENVER - No. 55 Denver defeated Utah 4-3 in Mountain Region men's tennis action Friday afternoon at Gates Tennis Center. The Pioneers rallied after dropping the doubles point to improve to 7-7 with their fourth straight win. Utah falls to 7-4.

Enej Bonin (Koper, Slovenia), Yannick Weihs (Guntramsdorf, Austria), Max Krammer (Perchtoldsdorf, Austria) and Othar Kordsachia (Hamburg, Germany) each posted singles victories for DU.

Bonin beat Benito Suriano 6-1, 6-1 at No. 1, Weihs beat Dmytro Mamedov 7-5, 6-3 at No. 2 and Krammer beat Rafael Davidian in three sets at No. 4. Kordsachia beat Devin Lane 6-4, 6-3 at No. 5.

Denver returns to action on Sunday, March 11 against Sacramento State. First serve at Gates Tennis Center is set for 12 p.m. MT.
