Denver Blanks UNLV, 7-0

LAS VEGAS - The Denver men's tennis team won its sixth straight match with a convincing 7-0 decision over UNLV Thursday at Fertitta Tennis Complex.

The Pioneers improve to 9-7, while UNLV fell to 7-9.

Enej Bonin (Koper, Slovenia), Yannick Weihs (Guntramsdorf, Austria), Jens Vorkefeld (Ostercappeln, Germany) , Max Krammer (Perchtoldsdorf, Austria), Othar Kordsachia (Hamburg, Germany) and Alex Clinkenbeard (Loveland, Colo.) each posted singles victories. Bonin, Weihs, Krammer, Kordsachia and Clinkenbeard posted their wins in two sets.

The DU doubles tandems of Bonin and Vorkefeld, Krammer and Fabio Biasion (Velbert, Germany), and Weihs and Kordsachia won their respective doubles matches.

Denver continues action in Las Vegas against Rice on Friday, March 23.
