Denver Ranks No.13/12 in Latest Polls

DENVER, Colo. - The University of Denver hockey team falls to No. 13 in the USCHO.com rankings, and No. 12 in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine poll, both of which were released Monday, Mar. 18.

Minnesota takes over the top spot in the USCHO.com poll, with 967 points and 22 first place votes. Quinnipiac is second in the USCHO.com poll with 958 points, followed by Miami (893), Boston College (820), UMass- Lowell (785), North Dakota (751), St. Cloud State (670), Minnesota State (626), Notre Dame (578) and New Hampshire (519).

Quinnipiac is first in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine poll with 494 points and 23 first place votes.  Minnesota is in second with 486 points. Miami (439), Boston College (389), UMass- Lowell (371), North Dakota (350), St. Cloud State (273), Minnesota State (241), Notre Dame (229) and Yale (205) round out the top-10.

The Pioneers will now wait and see if they earn an at-large bid to the 2013 NCAA National Championship. The NCAA field will be announced on Sunday, March 24 at 7 p.m. (MT) on ESPNU.  This year's NCAA Regional sites are Grand Rapids, Mich. (West), Toledo, Ohio (Central), Providence (East) and Manchester, N.H. (Northeast).
