Pioneers Defeat Seattle 5-1 to Claim Second Straight

The Pioneers took the early 1-0 lead after defeating Seattle in all three doubles matches.
No. 67 Enej Bonin (Koper, Slovenia) rolled past Seattle's Zach Kosanke 6-0, 6-0 in No. 1 singles play. Redshirt senior Max Krammer (Perchtoldsdorf, Austria) played at No. 2 singles and defeated Kevin Lynch, 6-2, 6-3. Freshman Henry Craig (Murrieta, Calif.) snapped his six match losing streak by claiming a 6-2, 6-1 victory over Ian Clare. Junior Alex Clinkenbeard (Loveland, Colo.) routed Jason Bediones 6-1, 6-1 to help the Pioneers claim the dual, 5-1.
The Pioneers next match is Sunday, April 7 at New Mexico State. The match begins at 12 p.m. (MT) in Las Cruces, N.M.
