I went to graduate school at the University of Missouri. I then enlisted in the Army and served three years, one in Vietnam. Next, I worked as a Club tennis pro and volunteered as a ITF tennis umpire and referee. 

I own my own tennis court equipment business in Half Moon Bay, CA.

I was grateful to DU for providing me with a athletic grant and a good education.

Completing my degree gave me a feeling of accomplishment.
