Denver- The Pioneers continued their winning streak at home as they went head-to-head with the Braves this afternoon. DU's second game of the Classic was following a match between the University of Kansas and Sam Houston State, in which Kansas swept an overall victory, moving to 4-1 on the season.

Denver won the first set against Bradley 25 to 11, and led in kills (8-5), assists (7-4) and blocks (7 -2).

The Pioneers finished the second set scoring 25 points over the Braves' eight. Individual match leaders from Denver were: Cassie Baird (Indianapolis, Ind.), Nola Basey (Lyons, Colo.) and Erica Denney (Aurora, Colo.) who each had four kills, Bailey Karst (Aurora, Colo.) with eight assists and Moni Corrujedo (El Paso, Texas) with two block solos. Denney also had four block assists.

Finishing the third set, the Crimson and Gold conquered their second game in the Pioneer Classic. This triumph puts the Denver volleyball team at a 5-0 record.
