PROVO- The Pioneers have wrapped up their back to back meets this weekend against both Utah and BYU. In a span of less than 24 hours Denver has swam two full meets.
Today the Pioneer's Women's team has finished this season undefeated. "Really proud of our ladies today for finishing this season undefeated," said Coach Brian Schrader. "Our 200 medley relay got us off to a great start today. They won their heat and set a new pool record."
"It was a fun team effort today, we had several wins that contributed to it," said Coach Schrader.
The men were on the cusp of sealing a victory for themselves but lost the meet today on the final race. Tough to lose on the last relay, and the small margin of point differential means any event could have been the difference," said Schrader. "Our men had a much better day and raced really well. "Dylan Bunch and Andrew Torres were outstanding in their races today."
"We need to make sure we keep getting better and secure those chances to win," closed Coach.
Today the Women's 200 Medley Relay team of Johanna Roas, Amanda Sanders, Zoe Huddleston, and Sam Corea set a new pool record at BYU with a time of 1:43.48.
Next up for the Pioneers is a diving invite for Men and Women at the United States Air Force Academy.
