Daniel Amigo returned after missing 10 games due to injury and scored four points in 20 minutes of action. Olson is leading the way averaging 13.4 points, 3.3 rebounds a game and 3.0 assists.
Cam Griffin is averaging 11.9 points, 5.7 rebounds and 2.6 assists a game on 53.8 percent shooting from the field.
Nate Engesser is averaging 11.0 points a game on 53.7 percent shooting. Denver was selected to finish second in The Summit League by league head coaches, SIDs and members of the media.
About IUPUI: The Jaguars dropped their last Summit League game at Oral Roberts on Jan. 7 69-61 in overtime. Khufu Najee scored 11 points and grabbed four rebounds in the defeat at Oral Roberts. DavRon Williams had eight points and seven rebounds. IUPUI is led by Marcellus Barksdale who is averaging 9.1 points and 4.6 rebounds. Edwards is averaging 11.2 points and 2.5 rebounds a game. Williams is averaging 7.6 points and 6.6 rebounds. The Jaguars with their win at Fort Wayne earlier in the season have already matched their league win total from last season. IUPUI was selected to finish ninth in The Summit League in the preseason poll.
The Match-up: This will be the third meeting between the schools. The teams split with each team winning home games last season. The Jaguars defeated the Pioneers during the 2013-14 season at IUPUI by the score of 59-49.
Booming Brett: Brett Olson is averaging 13.4 points, 3.3 rebounds and 3.0 assists while playing 34.6 minutes a game during the 2014-15 season. Olson has a 2.1 assist-to-turnover ratio. Olson scored a season-high 27 points vs. St. Joseph's on Dec. 29 knocking down 9-of-12 shots from the field and 5-of-6 from behind the arc.
Griffin Grabbing: Senior guard
Cam Griffin is averaging 11.9 points, 5.7 rebounds and 2.6 assists on the season on 53.8 percent shooting from the field. Griffin has scored in double figures in 11 of 16 games this season. Griffin scored a career-high 21 points against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi breaking his previous career-high of 19 which he set at St. Mary's earlier this season. Griffin currently sits 10th on the all-time steals list at the University of Denver.
