DENVER - The University of Denver women's swim team defeated the Air Force Academy on Saturday at El Pomar Natatorium after totaling 183 points over Air Force's 113.

"The women came out with some energy to start the meet and were able to carry the energy through," associate head coach Alicia Hicken-Franklin said after the meet. "We are seeing incredible leadership coming from many places on our team which is always fun to see. We had eight individual event winners. Overall a great team effort."
