The winning streak is the longest since the Pioneers won 10 straight during the 2012-13 season. The Crimson and Gold are led by Nate Engesser who is averaging 16.2 points. Engesser has knocked down 21 3-pointers during the 2015-16 season. DU has 10 players averaging at least 10.7 minutes per game. Denver was picked to finish eighth in the Summit League by league coaches, media and SIDs.

About Wyoming: The Cowboys come into Wednesday's contest with a 4-2 record having defeated Montana State 82-68 in their last game. Wyoming is led by Josh Adams who is averaging 25.6 points, 4.6 rebounds and 4.8 assists a game. Jason McManamen is adding 11.6 points and 2.8 rebounds a game, while Alan Herndon is chipping in 7.8 points and 5.0 rebounds a game. The Cowboys were picked to finish eighth in the MWC preseason poll.

The Match-up: This is the 153rd meeting between the teams. DU fell to Wyoming in Laramie, 68-42 in their last meeting. The last time the teams played in Denver, the Pioneers were victorious 64-61 on Dec. 15, 2013. During Joe Scott's tenure the home team has won every meeting between the Pioneers and Cowboys and the last road team to win in the series was Wyoming during the 2001-02 season.

Nifty Nate: Senior Nate Engesser is averaging 16.2 points a game on 61.5 percent shooting from the field and 58.3 percent from behind the arc. Engesser tied his career-high on Nov. 15, 2015 against Lipscomb scoring 26 points in the Cable Car Classic. The senior had back-to-back games in the Cable Car Classic where he drained six 3-pointers. Engesser knocked down a career-high seven 3-pointers against Belmont on Nov. 26, 2014. Engesser set career-highs in assists (6) and steals (3) vs. Western Illinois on Jan 14, 2015. He tied his career-high in assists by dishing out six against Omaha on Feb. 7, 2015 and steals (3) at Santa Clara . Engesser grabbed a career-high seven rebounds at Western Illinois on Feb. 21, 2015.

Byrd's Eye View: Redshirt senior Marcus Byrd is averaging 9.0 points on 47.6 percent shooting from the field. Byrd dished out a career-high eight assists against Lipscomb on Nov. 15, 2015. Byrd played a career-high 40 minutes at IUPUI on Jan. 10, 2015.

The Long Ranger: The Pioneers have at least one three-pointer in 291 straight games, dating back to Feb. 2, 2006.

Passing the Ruck: Senior Bryant Rucker is averaging 10.0 points on 75.0 percent shooting and 66.7 percent from behind the arc during the 2015-16 season. He set a career-high with eight assists vs. South Alabama on Nov. 28, 2015.

Jumping Joe: Freshman Joe Rosga started his first college game of his career against Milwaukee and played a team-high 36 minutes, while scoring nine points. Rosga dropped in a season-high 20 points against Idaho State on Nov. 25, 2015. Rosga is averaging 10.3 points, 2.7 assists and 3.3 rebounds on the season.
