TULSA, OKLA.- The No. 40 University of Denver men's tennis team (7-5, 1-0 Summit League) rebounded nicely with a prevailing victory over Oral Roberts (4-6, 0-1 Summit League) Saturday morning, 6-1.

The Pioneers earned their eighth doubles point of the year. Sophomores Yannik James and Diogo Rocha earned their second win on the weekend together and their eighth of the season as they took down Saletovic and Lavers, 8-2. Junior Henry Craig and Jesse Ruder-Hook won on court three, 8-4 over the pairing Sosnowski and Bates.

Denver took the momentum from the doubles and rolled through the singles. Craig took down Saletovic in straight sets, 6-1, 6-3. Rocha and sophomore Alex Gasson also won in straight set on courts two and three. James would shut out Santamaria, 6-0, 6-0. Junior David Fox would grab his fifth win of the season with a, 6-1, 6-3 over Sosnowski.

"It was nice to get a win against our new Summit League opponent in Oral Roberts," said Head Coach Danny Westerman."We need to have a great week of practice to be ready for Marquette."

The Pioneers will move on to face their first Summit League opponent Oral Roberts Saturday February 28, at 10:00 a.m. MT.
