In 2013-14, the initial agreement brokered via Denver Sports Properties, Altitude broadcasted both Pioneer men's and women's lacrosse games as a part of a newly established relationship with the Division of Athletics and Recreation. The lacrosse relationship is slated to continue for the 2016 men's and women's lacrosse seasons.
Both the University of Denver and Altitude are committed to using the expanded partnership as a way to help the next generation of technical experts in the broadcasting field. In 2013-14, DU leadership committed significant resources to upgrade all of the back-of-the-house technical components to HD quality, which allowed the University to produce and oversee all elements of the broadcasts. As a part of its production crew, the University utilized DU students on many of the key technical broadcast elements to further their understanding of the field. Some of the students have now gone on to work other Altitude events as freelancers for the network.
