Denver opened the Jamie Franks' era with a 4-0 win over former MPSF foe Bakersfield on Saturday night.
The Pioneers host Army for Military Appreciation Night on Monday at 7 p.m. MT.
Denver will take part in New Mexico's invitational next weekend with neutral site matchups against UC Santa Barbara (Sept. 4/4 p.m. MT) and San Diego (Sept. 6/12 p.m. MT).
NEW BENCH BOSS
Former DU assistant and Wake Forest alum Jamie Franks took over the reins, officially inking his name as Denver's 10th head coach on Aug. 29.
The Pioneers are 36-17-8 since Franks' arrival as an assistant coach prior to the start of the 2012 season.
Combined as a college player and coach, Franks is 135-44-25, reaching four college cups and winning a National Championship in that span.
According to information submitted to the NCAA, Franks is the youngest DI head coach in 2015 (28).
OH CAPTAIN MY CAPTAIN
The Pioneers will be captained by their only four-year senior in Jordan Schweitzer and junior Sam Hamilton in Franks' first year in charge of the side. The two captains have combined for 96 CAPS with DU.
Schweitzer has played 55 matches in the center of the park for the Pioneers, starting in 53 of those appearances.
Hamilton made 14 starts in 20 matches last season, tallying four assists in the campaign.
HOME FORM
Denver is 26-2-3 at CIBER Field over the past four seasons.
The Pioneers are 36-13-9 at home since CIBER Field opened in 2009.
DU has outscored opponents 113-53 at home since 2009, including 74-22 over the past four campaigns.
Denver has an 18-match home winning streak (longest active), and a 20-match home unbeaten streak (19-0-1, longest active).
The Pioneers last home draw came against Bradley on Sept. 20, 2013, while their last home loss came against No. 21 Charlotte in the 2013 season opener.
Of the 205 NCAA Division I Men's Soccer teams in 2014, nine finished unbeaten at home, including Saint Louis and Denver tying for the best mark at 11-0-0.
