Feb. 20, 2016 Tucson, Ariz. - The 51st-ranked University of Denver men's tennis team defeated the University of Nevada today 6-1 in a neutral site match in Tucson, Ariz.
 The Pioneers went 5-1 in singles play and 2-1 in doubles.
 "It was a good first outdoor match," head coach Ricardo Rubio said. "We were able to put out our full lineup today and it was good to see Diogo and Yannik back in action. Arizona will be a really tough match tomorrow at their home courts."
 DU received singles victories from Henry Craig (Murrieta, Calif.), Diogo Rocha (Lisbon, Portugal), David Fox (Surrey, United Kingdom), Alex Gasson (Alton, United Kingdom) and Yannik James (St. Georges, Grenada). In doubles play, the Pioneers found success from the pairs of Gasson/Craig and Rocha/James.
 Denver will play the University of Arizona tomorrow at 12:00 p.m. MT.
