Feb. 25, 2016 DENVER - This University of Denver men's tennis team will continue their 2016 season in Iowa this weekend to face two different opponents.
The 40th-ranked Pioneers are set to take on the No. 43 University of Iowa on Friday at 6:00 p.m. MT, followed by a match against No. 44 Drake University on Saturday at 12:00 p.m. MT.
"We have Iowa and Drake on the road this weekend and we are all ranked about the same so I am expecting two very competitive matches," head coach Ricardo Rubio said. " We have everyone healthy and playing back to back matches on consecutive days will be a challenge. I am looking forward to seeing our team on the road against two tough teams."
Denver defeated the University of Nevada 6-1 last Saturday before beating the University of Arizona 5-2 on Sunday in Tucson, Ariz.
