Omaha, Neb. - The 48th-ranked University of Denver men's tennis team defeated the University of Nebraska-Omaha 4-0 today in the Men's Summit League semifinal match at the Koch Family Tennis Center in Omaha, Neb. The Pioneers will face Oral Roberts University in the Summit League Men's Tennis finals match tomorrow at 2:00 p.m. MT.

The Pioneers went 2-0 in doubles action today and 3-0 in their singles matches. DU improved their overall record to 17-7 on the season.

DU received singles victories from Henry Craig (Murrieta, Calif.), Yannik James (St. Georges, Grenada) and Alex Gasson (Alton, United Kingdom) to help claim the semifinal win for the Pioneers.

In doubles play, James and Jesse Ruder-Hook (Denver, Colo.) beat Erik Anderson and Alex Woodward (UNO) 6-3, while Zach Fryer (Centennial, Colo.) and Diogo Rocha (Lisbon, Portugal) defeated John Ellis and Matt Dunn (UNO) 6-3 in their doubles match. The pair of Craig and Gasson also competed in the No. 1 doubles spot, however their match went unfinished.

The team will compete for their third consecutive Summit League Championship tomorrow afternoon in the title match, which is scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m. MT. Follow along with live stats HERE.
