DENVER - The 49th-ranked University of Denver men's tennis team defeated the Oral Roberts University today 6-1 at Stapleton Tennis Pavilions on the DU Campus.

The Pioneers are now 14-7 overall this season and 3-0 in conference play. DU went 5-1 in singles play and 2-0 in doubles.

DU received singles victories from Henry Craig (Murrieta, Calif.), Diogo Rocha (Lisbon, Portugal), Yannik James (St. Georges, Grenada), David Fox (Surrey, United Kingdom) and Wyatt Lovera (Miami, Fla.).

In doubles play, the pair of James and Jesse Ruder-Hook (Denver, Colo.) defeated Barnabas Koncz and Amar Saletovic (ORU) 6-2, while the duo of Zach Fryer (Centennial, Colo.) and Rocha defeated Michael Sosnowski and Braxton Bates (ORU) 6-2.

Denver will host IUPUI next weekend on Saturday, April 16 for Senior Day. The match is scheduled to take place at Stapleton Tennis Pavilions at 1:00 p.m. MT.
