Set One:

Denver hit .355 in the opening set, keeping the Hoyas to a .122 mark despite zero team blocks from the Pioneers.

Principato and Latham each tallied three kills in the set, while Domme permanently etched her name in DU's record books with five assists.

The teams went back-and-forth in the early goings with GU holding a 5-4 lead, though a 6-1 run from Denver gave the Pioneers a 10-6 advantage and they followed up with a 7-1 run late in the set for a 21-14 lead en route to the 25-15 final.

Set Two:

The Pioneers kept the pace up in the second set with a .333 mark and posted three team blocks to keep the Hoyas to a .258 rate.

Okoye and Principato each tallied four kills in the set, followed by three from Willis and two each from Corrujedo, Nola Basey and Latham.

Georgetown kept Denver at bay through the initial portion of the set as DU fought for eight ties up until the midpoint of the match, knotted at 14-14. Each squad traded punches through the remainder of the set, with five more ties ending at 19-19, but Denver pulled away on a 5-0 run for a 24-19 lead and capped the set at 25-20.

Set Three:

DU completed the sweep hitting .357 in the final set with three team blocks and keeping GU below the .300 mark once again at .267.

Willis closed out the match with four kills for Denver, followed by three apiece from Corrujedo and Principato.

The Pioneers opened up on a 4-1 run but were matched by a Hoyas' 4-1 for a 5-5 tie. DU never lost sight of the goal as they built up a 10-7 cushion but GU came right back to force another tie at 15-15. Denver responded with a 5-1 run for a 20-16 lead and cruised to a 25-19 final.
