DENVER - The University of Denver women's golf team is set to co-host the Golfweek Conference Challenge this week in Wolcott, Colo. The three-day tournament is slated to begin action on Monday.
The 18-team event will take place at the Red Sky Ranch and Golf Club.
Defending champions San Diego State is set to make its return, which consists of the best team from every conference last season. The teams then compete to see who is crowned the Golfweek Conference Champion.
The Pioneers and head coach Lindsay Kuhle will go with the five-player lineup of Jessica Carty, Jessica Dreesbeimdieke, Mariell Bruun, Camille Enright and Lauren Whyte
Carty is coming off a 25th-place finish in her season debut at the Dick McGuire Invitational. The defending Summit League Golfer of the Year finished with a 1-over-par 217 in the three-round tournament.
Enright is set to make her collegiate debut at the three-round event.
