• Denver will travel to IUPUI to face the Jaguars on Saturday afternoon. The game will be played at 1 p.m. MT. • This will be the 7th meeting between the two squads. The Pioneers trail 1-6 in the overall series. • The last meeting was on Feb. 14, 2016 where Denver fell to IUPUI by a final score of 67-54. • Denver's last win in the series was on March 10, 2014 in a neutral site game where the Pioneers defeated the Jaguars 76-69. Pioneers This Season • Freshman guard Lauren Loven went off Thursday night at Fort Wayne, going 8-of-11 from 3-point range for a sizzling 72.7 percent and a career-high 26 points. Loven ranks sixth in the nation in three-point field goals made with 60. The freshman is second in the Summit League in the same category. • The Pioneers are currently shooting 38.1 percent from beyond the arc, third-best in the Summit League and ranking 19th nationally. • Freshman guard Briana Johnson is also making her name known nationally, as she ranks 36th in the nation in free-throw percentage with 86.3. Johnson is third in the League in the same category. • Senior guard Jacqlyn Poss leads DU with 13.1 points per game which puts her at 14th-best in the Summit League. • Senior forward Jesse Spittel leads the Crimson and Gold with 4.9 rebounds per game, 13th-best in the League. Spittel is third all-time in offensive rebound average with 2.0 per game on her career. • Sophomore guard Samantha Romanowski has earned her spot in the DU record books, ranking seventh all-time in three-point field goal percentage with 35 percent.
