PIONEERS FALL TO ODU, UTAH AT ITA KICK-OFF EVENT

The University of Denver men's tennis team competed at the 2017 ITA Kick-Off Tournament this weekend, taking part in a regional draw at Ohio State's Varsity Tennis Center that featured the Buckeyes as well as Old Dominion and Utah. Denver fell to ODU on Day 1 of the event and to Utah in the Consolation Match, both by final scores of 4-0.

The doubles team of Jesse Ruder-Hook & Pedro Fernandez Del Valle picked up the lone win of the weekend for Denver, defeating ODU's Michael Weindl & Javier Maestre by a score of 6-4 on Friday. Full results from DU-ODU can be found HERE and results from DU-Utah can be found HERE.
