Feb. 11, 2017 The DU men's tennis team improved its 2017 record to 2-4 on Saturday, with the Pioneers downing the SDSU Jackrabbits by a score of 7-0 at Lifetime Fitness in Centennial, Colo. Denver took only an hour and 44 minutes to capture the win.
 
After No. 34 Team Gasson/James (6-0) and Team Huynh/Fryer (6-1) earned decisive doubles victories to give Denver a 1-0 lead, the Pioneers continued to dominate in singles play with all six DU student-athletes capturing straight-set wins to give the hosts the team victory. Junior Wyatt Lovera battled back in both of his sets, erasing a pair of 1-4 deficits to take his match 6-4, 6-4.
