DENVER – University of Denver men's tennis players
Theo Coats and
Connor Robb-Wilcox were named the Kwik Star Summit League Doubles Peak Team of the Week for the second week of the season, the Summit League announced on Tuesday.
The DU sophomore and graduate student won their match in Denver's first dual of the year, earning a 6-3 victory against Texas Tech at the No. 2 slot. They first broke in the fourth game of the match and then added a second break in what would be the final game during DU's 4-3 win over Texas Tech on January 23.
Coats/Robb-Wilcox also played together in DU's second match of the weekend and were on serve, 3-4, against Montana State win the match was left unfinished.
This is the fourth Doubles Peak Team of the Week award for Coats, though his three previous ones came with a different teammate. This is Robb-Wilcox's second Doubles Peak Team of the Week nod, his first also coming with a different doubles partner. Their award this week is DU's first Summit League weekly honor of the 2026 season.
Denver has a bye week before resuming play with two home matches against Utah and Montana on February 6-8 at Denver Tennis Park.
