PIONEERS FALL TO HAWKEYES 5-2

The DU men's tennis team came up short in home match versus the Iowa Hawkeyes on Sunday afternoon, with the visitors taking the decision by a final score of 5-2 at Lifetime Fitness Centennial. Denver is now 2-5 on the season.

Iowa won a pair of doubles matches to take a 1-0 lead on Sunday prior to winning four of the six singles matches staged. Yannik James & Jesse Ruder-Hook both captured singles wins for the Pios, with James taking his match in straight sets in improving to 4-2 individually on the season.
