Denver Begins American Short Course Championships

SAN ANTONIO, Texas - The University of Denver swimming and diving program had a handful of swimmers in the water on Thursday for the American Short Course Championships at ISD Natatorium in San Antonio, Texas.

Trey Kilbride, Robin Kuebler and Jesse Haraden all turned in times for the Pioneers in the opening day of competition. Kilbride turned in a 49.37 time in the 100 back time trial, Kuebler ended with a 21.37 in the 50 free finals and a 21.58 in the 50 free time trial, and Haraden closed with a 4:36.56 in the 500 free finals. All three swimmers ended with ASCA standard times.

The Pioneers will continue the championships tomorrow starting at 10:30 a.m. MT.
