The DU Pioneers remained at No. 1 on the latest editions of the USCHO.com and USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine NCAA Div. I Hockey polls, both of which were announced earlier today. Denver (29-7-4) will open the 2017 NCAA Tournament this weekend at the Midwest Regional in Cincinnati, Ohio (FULL BRACKET).

Michigan Tech will be Denver's first opponent in the tournament (Saturday, 11am MT - ESPNews/104.3FM The Fan). The winner of this game will face either Union or Penn State on Sunday at 4pm MT (ESPNU/ESPN Denver 1600 AM). Watch parties for Saturday's DU-MTU game will be held at the following local eateries: The Rosedale Tavern, Big Bill's NY Pizza, Blackbird Public House, Crimson & Gold Tavern, The Pioneer Restaurant, Rio Grande Mexican Restaurant, Snarf's and Stadium Inn. The same venues will host watch parties on Sunday in the event that Denver defeats the Huskies.
