March 26, 2017 DENVER- Head coach Erik Billinger and the University of Denver men's golf team head back out to the northwest for the 28th annual Duck Invitational. The first two rounds of play begin on Monday at the Eugene Country Club.
No. 5 Oregon plays host for the 54-hole event which features 15 teams from around the country.
Par for the 7,020-yard course is 71.
Billinger is bringing seven players: Petter Mikalsen, Chris Korte, Jake Kelley, Isaac Petersilie, Roy Kang, Eric Hagen and Troy Dangler.
The Pioneers are coming off an eighth-place finish at the Bandon Dunes Championship back on March 14.
Petersilie had it going during that event, finishing 13th in the deep field of competitors with a 2-under 70 in his final round of action.
Mikalsen looks to build on his last outing, which saw the senior place 20th with a three-round total of 218, highlighted by an opening-day 67.
