DENVER -- The University of Denver men's golf team returns to the course for the Mark Simpson Invitational in Erie, Colorado this week. 

The Pioneers tee off the 54-hole tournament on Sept. 29 at the Colorado National Golf Course and will play 36-holes on Monday followed by the final 18-hole round on Tuesday.

Alongside Denver and host Colorado, the field features  Arkansas State, Boise State, Creighton, CSU Fullerton, Eastern Washington, Gonzaga, Long Beach State, Loyola-Marymount, Northern Colorado, Sacramento State, Southern Illinois, Tarleton State, Texas State, UC Irvine, Utah State, UTEP, and Wyoming.
